Express yourself in your own words.
Live your own life.
Stories, books, research, and creative projects by Myu.
What is Jour House?
Jour House is the creative home of Myu — a place for stories, books, research, and experiments with words.
I explore how writing, language, and personal stories can help us notice our lives, understand others, and share what is inside us with the world.
Some projects begin as Japanese learning activities. Others begin with interviews, journals, research, or everyday moments.
They all begin with one thing: someone has a story to tell.

The Jour House Method
Write. Speak. Read. Listen. Create. Connect.
Jour House begins with curiosity.
We write our own words, listen to other people’s stories, create something from what we discover, and share it with others.

Writing & Journaling
How does writing help people reflect, notice change, and understand their own experiences?

Body, Practice & Reflection

OUR STORY
Why Jour House?
Jour House grew from a simple idea:
Everyone has something inside them worth expressing.
For years, I have worked with people’s words as a writer, interviewer, editor, and Japanese teacher.
Jour House is where those experiences come together — a place to create, listen, research, and share stories with the world.
About Me.
Writer · Japanese Teacher · Editor

I’m Myu, a writer, Japanese teacher, and editor from Japan.
My work explores language, writing, personal stories, journaling, and the ways people express who they are.
I create books, educational programs, interviews, and research projects through Myu Japanese Academy and Jour House.
Every story begins somewhere.
Maybe with a question.
Maybe with a conversation.
Maybe with three lines in a notebook.
Follow the stories, books, and research growing from Jour House.
