Since childhood, writing has been at the center of my life. As an author, editor, and educator, I have spent more than 15 years exploring how language and writing help people understand themselves, connect with others, and grow with confidence.

My journey began in sports journalism, where I spent many years interviewing young athletes and researching the impact of journaling on learning, performance, and personal development. Through this work, I came to realize that writing is much more than putting words on a page—it is a way of discovering our thoughts, finding our voice, and shaping our future.

Since 2016, I have worked closely with children through creative writing education in Japan, helping them develop confidence, curiosity, and the joy of self-expression. Many of my students have continued learning with me for years, and I am grateful to have witnessed their growth as writers and individuals.

Today, through Myu’s Japanese Journey, I support both children and adults on their own language-learning paths. Whether through conversation, writing, journaling, or creative projects, my goal is to create a warm and encouraging space where learners can express themselves freely and build a meaningful relationship with the Japanese language.

I do not see myself simply as a teacher. I see myself as a learning partner—someone who walks alongside you, celebrates your progress, and supports you as you discover your own voice in Japanese.

When I am not writing or teaching, I enjoy traveling—both on my own and with my daughter. Every journey reminds me that language is more than communication; it is a bridge that connects people, stories, and possibilities.

写作一直是我人生中不可或缺的一部分。

作为作家、编辑和教育工作者，十五年来，我不断探索语言与写作如何帮助人们认识自己、连接他人，并在成长过程中建立自信。

我的职业生涯始于体育记者工作。在长期采访青少年运动员的过程中，我持续研究书写与记录习惯对学习、成长和表现的影响。通过这些研究，我逐渐认识到：写作不仅仅是把文字写在纸上，更是一种整理思绪、发现自我声音，并塑造未来的过程。

自2016年以来，我一直在日本从事儿童创意写作教育。我重视写作带来的乐趣与表达的自由，陪伴孩子们培养自信心、好奇心以及表达能力。许多学生与我一起学习多年，而能够见证他们作为写作者和个体不断成长，是我最珍视的事情之一。

如今，通过“Myu的日语成长之旅（Myu's Japanese Journey）”，我陪伴儿童与成人走在各自的日语学习道路上。无论是会话练习、写作训练、书写记录（Journal Writing），还是创意项目，我都希望为学习者创造一个温暖而安心的学习空间，让他们能够自由表达自己，并与日语建立深刻而有意义的连接。

我并不只是把自己看作一名教师。

我更愿意成为一位学习伙伴——陪伴你前行的人。在你的学习旅程中，为你的每一点进步感到欣喜，并支持你找到属于自己的日语表达方式。

在写作与教学之外，我喜欢旅行。无论是独自出发，还是与女儿一起探索新的地方，每一次旅程都让我更加相信：语言不仅是沟通的工具，更是一座连接人与人、故事与故事，以及无限可能的桥梁。
