Designed for children growing up outside Japan, returnee families, and bilingual households, this personalized one-on-one program supports not only Japanese language development, but also the ability to think, express ideas, and communicate with confidence.
More Than Language Learning
I believe that learning Japanese is not simply about memorizing vocabulary or kanji.
It is about discovering your own voice.
Through writing, journaling, conversation, and creative activities, children learn to organize their thoughts, express their feelings, and connect with others through language.
Each lesson is carefully adapted to your child's age, interests, goals, and Japanese level.
What We Learn Together
Writing & Self-Expression
Children develop writing skills through age-appropriate composition activities designed to make writing enjoyable and meaningful.
Kanji & Reading
Students practice kanji through reading, writing, and personalized activities that match their level and learning style.
Journaling
Children are encouraged to reflect on their daily experiences and thoughts through simple journaling activities.
This helps strengthen language skills while supporting confidence, self-awareness, and emotional growth.
Creative Communication
Language comes alive when it is used to share ideas.
Students have opportunities to express themselves through stories, letters, conversations, and collaborative projects.
A Learning Partner for Your Child
As the author of Enjoy Writing: A Composition Class at Home and a writing educator who has worked with elementary school students for more than ten years, I have helped many children discover the joy of expressing themselves through writing.
As an online learning partner, I work closely with each child, providing encouragement, guidance, and personalized support every step of the way.
My goal is not simply to teach Japanese, but to help children build confidence and develop a lifelong relationship with language and self-expression.
Beyond the Lesson
Families who wish may also participate in optional activities such as:
• Parent-child journaling worksheets
• Handwritten letter exchanges
• Writing Club collaborative web magazine
• We also host online events where participants can connect with children in Japan who are developing their writing and self-expression skills through composition activities.
These experiences help children see Japanese as a living language that connects people, stories, and cultures.
Lesson Plans
All lessons are personalized and conducted one-on-one.
After each lesson, students receive feedback on their work, and parents receive regular progress updates.

How It Works
Step 1: Free Consultation (for Parents)
We begin with a free online consultation to learn about your child's Japanese background, current level, and learning goals.
This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and discuss any concerns.
Step 2: Free Trial Lesson (for Your Child)
Your child joins a relaxed 15-minute trial lesson.
This allows us to get to know each other and assess your child's current Japanese level in a comfortable and supportive environment.You can take up to two free trial lessons.
Step 3: Choose the Best Learning Plan
After the trial lesson, together we will discuss the learning plan that best fits your child's needs and goals.
Let's find a learning journey that helps your child enjoy Japanese and grow with confidence.
Communication & Lesson Language
All lessons, consultations, and trial lessons are conducted primarily in Japanese.
For families who prefer communication in another language, written communication through online chat and translation tools is available when needed.
This program is designed to help children experience Japanese in a natural and immersive environment.

Lessons are available between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM (Japan Standard Time).
Students from Asia, Europe, Oceania, and the Americas are welcome.
