About Myu

Hi, I'm Myu.
For more than 20 years, I’ve worked as a writer and editor in Japanese baseball and sports media, including many years as an editor-in-chief.
My work has always been about listening to people’s experiences, finding what matters to them, and turning their thoughts and stories into words.
For more than 10 years, I’ve also created writing and self-expression programs for children and adults.
Today, I bring those experiences into Japanese teaching.
I help learners find the words to express what they really want to say — not by chasing perfect Japanese, but by using the Japanese they have now to think, speak, write, and connect with others.
Through the Myu Japanese Play Room, Japanese Writing Club, and personal learning support, I create spaces where learners can use Japanese as a real tool for expression and connection.
Good words don't begin with perfection.
They begin with something you really want to say.
